Introducing...

Aiden Gage in his daddy's arms, born April 10, 2007. He's quite a chunk... 8 lbs 14 oz and 21" long (4kg and 53cm long)! Aiden is our second grandchild and first grandson.

In Daddy's arms

Innt he cute??? We made a whirlwind trip to Colorado to see him last weekend, returning on Wednesday. I'll share more about the trip (and the Quilt of Valor progress) this weekend, but wanted to get this up for you to see.

Oh boy! Grandbaby envy here!!

Those are some serious tattoos--a tattoo artist, maybe?

Yes, he does have some major cheeks on him! His Daddy has tattoos all over the place, but not on his face, thankfully. Debra, he isn't a tattoo artist, he's actually an ornamental ironworker and welder, but he does love him some tattoos!

My son has quite a few tattoos also. He is still working on a large one on his arm, which is costing him plenty of money. I think he is stalled out for now due to lack of funds for that kind of spending. It really is a 20 something activity and when all these kids kids go to kindergarten the "weird" ones will be the ones whose parents don't have tattoos!

I just wonder how they are going to explain tats to a little kid.
