Morning ladies!
I finally found time to do some stitching on my sampler of Creten Stitch for Take a Stitch Tuesdays (TAST). For this sampler, I'm using a lovely medium green 32 count Belgian linen. So far I have used some #5 perle cotton, silk floss and a Caron Impressions blend.
I'm planning on several more lines of stitches but this will do to give you a taste of what I have been doing.

This is very nice--I like the double ones, very interesting. I think I read somewhere that the Creten stitch is difficult. Is that true?
Rian, it's not really difficult, but I did find that I had difficulty getting into a rhythm when doing the stitching. You kinda have to turn the hoop back and forth to make it work right... or at least I do!
This is one of my favorite stitches for combinations. It looks great.
Beautiful stitches, I like very much the second row.
I love all your work, so I added your blog in my blogroll, a large list of quilting and crazy blogs.
Okay, I can't resist. Forgive me please. A taste of TAST! =o)
Great stitching, too. Almost makes that stitch likable to me.
