I spent several pleasant hours last night stitching a line of Guilloche stitch on my sampler for the Library of Personal stitches class. I am loving the way the colors work together... I think this is a pretty accurate picture for your viewing pleasure:
This morning when I looked at it again it struck me that I was using the colors that have come to represent the Southwest on this sampler. The linen has sunset colors in it and the blues are the blues of the summer sky and the turquoise that is everywhere in Arizona. I like it! :0)
