I am using #3 perle cotton, #12 perle cotton, silk floss and novelty knitting yarn so far on this sampler.
Here is a closeup of my favorite portion so far.
On the current additions I have used cable chain stitch to do some of the swooping lines, french knots and long straight stitches also.
Since it's a long weekend I'll be able to get some more done and hopefully dig into Week 4's lesson.

I have to say that I am amazed about the results of Sharon courses! I have seen gourgeous things among her students! Your stitches are beautiful!

I haven't returned to Sharon's lessons. I guess I had some other tasks to finish and now I am thinking I will just work through the lessons on my own in January when I get back to my CQ piece. Your explorations are very good. It looks like you are learning some new ideas that you can develop more later--which I think is the whole idea of the lessons. I plan to go back and pick out pieces to use over and over again.
