Today, in 1952...

this little freckle-faced girl was born.
Me & Mom in 1953
Here I am with my Mom in 1953.

My Dad had a jingle he would say when I had a temper tantrum...

"There was a little girl,
who had a little curl,
right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good she was very, very good...
and when she was bad she was horrid."

'Nuff said!!

Happy Birthday to me!

Happy birthday, Marty! I was born in '52, too (Christmas Eve) - it was a very good year, yes?

Your sampler looks wonderful!

Happy Birthday! (I'm a November gal too -- ) I enjoy reading your blog and seeing pix of your creative projects. My auntie used to tell me that rhyme too, but finished it: " ... and when she was bad, she was a right awful little redhaired 'itch!" (I don't think she liked me very much ... it was somewhat mutual!)
